ARTICLE ADDRESSING THE TROOPER ATTACK ON THE EMT

********************************************************************************************

Sick. Absolutely sick. These cops were so pathologically demented in jacking up the EMT paramedic and in the process, those state troopers endangered the lady patient’s life.

Wow. Even paramedics are not immune to police brutality under color of authority, and that the patient in the ambulance and her health and well-being were jeopardized, meant nothing to the troopers, is even more sad.

“Protect and serve?”

Like hell.

Not to mention the lack of professional courtesy that should exist between two service sectors of society, as well as the lack of respect towards the paramedics who were doing their job, trying to safeguard a citizen’s life. And are not all vehicles (cop/trooper cars included) supposed to give the right-of-way to an ambulance that is transporting a patient in need of medical care? Are law enforcement beings so above the law that they can take their out-of-control rage out on a paramedic because they, the troopers, cannot control their seriously-in-need-of anger-management belligerent behaviour?

It is not only citizens who have to watch their backs where out-of-control law enforcement people are concerned. So too, must EMT paramedics have to watch out for cops/troopers who think that just because they wear a badge and a gun that they can lord life and death over everyone who crosses paths with them.

But, then again, this is the monster that American society has created.

That this raging behaviour has been condoned and sanctioned for too long, has put everyone at the mercy of loose-cannon sadistic law enforcement people like this Oklahoma state trooper.

TO LODGE COMPLAINTS AGAINST THE SADISTIC ACTIONS OF THE TROOPER, HERE ARE NUMBERS TO CALL:

-The one that pulled over the ambulance is Daniel Martin, badge number 606.

-Here is the number to reach this trooper’s captain 918-423-3636; or (405)425-2059

It is not enough to sit back and complain of abuse at the hands of police officers.

If more people let their thoughts be known to state officials on this act of atrocity, maybe there just might be some actions taken to start punishing cops who act as if they are above the law.

I had to watch the clip twice…to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. These cops are wannabe cops….pretenders in uniform…nothing more. Typically, they get hired at the small town level, and are weeded out at bigger cities and state-police level. In this case….they made it through the filter.

Here’s the end situation…if you are the chief of the state police….you know here and now that a court case is going to brew up in a year. They won’t settle for less than $2 million, and likely will pursue $10 million. The lawyer involved will collect 25 percent of this deal….so he will go for the gusto.

The state will have to find funding somewhere to cover this…..so naturally, your yearly funding vehicle, for cars, training, and uniforms….is going to be tossed into this issue.

I’m guessing the chief of police will retire by December and avoid this cut the budget game. As for the cops involved? They will stay on duty and likely become open targets with various college dudes showing up with digital cameras hidden and they will go for massive lawsuits. Just three of these incidents in one year….could wipe out the entire state police budget.

A perfect example of, “Protect and Serve. ” The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has a serious problem–both with this trooper and within the agency. Their actions in stonewalling media and the public has set a bad example.” It is sad that the state of Oklahoma still allows for things like this to take place. As a long time resident of this great state I am not surprised at the actions of the trooper or the OHP agency. May 31, 1921 was the date of one of the worst riots in the history of the United States in of all places beautiful Tulsa, Ok. We have come a long way but to allow someone in a position of authority to behave in this manner is unacceptable. Trooper Daniel Martin needs to be removed from his position and charges filed against him for assault. But instead he is rewarded with paid time off!

This incident is appalling, and the writer of this article is spot on. This Daniel Martin, needs to be fired. There needs to be a formal apology not only to the EMS personnel but to the patient. The patient should sue the state of Oklahoma. I agree that there needs to be some form of agency that handles situations like this, and it not be the internal affairs department who is likely to dismiss this sort of atrocity.
