Missing: Deborah Stampley-Jones


A St. Paul woman has been missing for almost a week, and her family asked for the public’s help today in finding her.Foul play isn’t suspected, but the woman is considered a vulnerable adult, police said.

Deborah Stampley-Jones, 46, is mentally challenged and takes medication, said Rev. Darryl Spence, who is helping the woman’s family.

Stampley-Jones was last seen Saturday at her home on Dayton Avenue, near Lexington Parkway, Spence said.

She is described as black, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 110 pounds. She has shoulder-length hair, worn in braids. She was last seen wearing a green Army jacket and sweatpants, carrying a brown backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Paul police missing persons unit  at 651-788-2979.
