GRAND JURY TO HEAR CASE OF PASADENA MAN WHO KILLED SUSPECTED THIEVES

HOUSTON — A Harris County grand jury will hear the Joe Horn case sometime next month.

Horn is the Pasadena homeowner who shot and killed two suspected burglars he says were breaking into his neighbor’s home last November.

Pasadena police have said both men were shot in the back.

Their autopsies were sent to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

But county officials don’t want it made public, saying it’s part of a pending criminal investigation.

A spokesperson for the DA’s office says prosecutors will lay out their entire case to grand jurors.

That should take several days.

So far, no charges have been filed against Horn.
